Equipment Review:
Tomahawx Golf Tees
by Jeffrey Reed, Editor, LondonOntarioGolf.com

Sometimes you need to think outside the box - rather, from the ground up - in order to arrive at the best solution. In the case of Tomahawx Golf Tees, this theory has proven to be successful in the design of a revolutionary new golf tee.

The Tomahawx golf tee is a low-ground, resistance-free tee made with a uni-body component design. Sounds scientific for a golf tee, doesn't it? The science appears to work, as this is a solid product.

Utilizing a quarter-round tapered knife-edge allows the Tomahawx tee to be used with a conventional vertical insertion, but enables horizontal post-impact rotation at the ground level pivot point. The USGA Conforming retail version has an integrated depth guard, too, guaranteeing a consistent height for consistent results.

The Tomahawx tee features an open-face crescent-shaped top with a graduating cavity which helps to minimize the interaction between tee head and ball - less friction, less sidespin, more accuracy and distance. And for increased durability, the front blends into an inverted channel of the stem which has the same front profile as a standard golf tee, but is deeper in the direction of impact, making it "virtually unbreakable." In fact, Tomahawx offers a TEED for Life Performance Promise.

This tee is backed by some smart science. A four-pack of two, 2 ¼-in. and two, 2 ¾ in. tees carries a MSRP of $4.89 US. Find out more at www.tomahawx.com.
