OGIO Atlas Golf Bag, Shoester, 800 Bag

Atlas Golf Bag

Quite simply, the Atlas golf bag is one of the best bags we’ve ever sampled. Like all OGIO products, it looks as good as it performs. When OGIO’s crack team of designers bill this bag as “fully loaded cart bliss,” they’re right on. Since its introduction in 2006, the Atlas has ranked high as a favourite bag amongst golf aficionados. A great cart bag, the Atlas is featured to the max with OGIO parented and patent-pending features.

From the top, the Atlas offers a new 10-in. Uniter 15-club top – a key feature for preventing your expensive club shafts from banging around during a four-and-a-half hour round of golf. There’s a patented Hood‘ rain hood, patented ZBF (zipperless ball pocket), a neoprene Ball Silo, and a wet-dry pocket. In total, there are 13 pockets (nine zippered), including storage for hydration, a cell phone (turned off during your round, of course), sunglasses, plus an internal isolation wet/dry chamber.

The Atlas, 37 in. high and weighing in at 9.5 lbs. also features a Lift Grip, elastic oversized towel loop, fleeced-line valuables pocket, and a full length umbrella containment for pull carts. It retails in the $200 range and is a wise investment for your clubs. It also looks great, too. I like the Fire red bag. It’s also available in Black/Khaki, Tweed/Khaki and Indigo.

Shoester

A quality shoe bag will help separate you from the pack, whether you’re changing in the parking lot of your local muni course, or carrying your shoes into the posh clubhouse. OGIO’s Shoester is a modern golf shoe bag with a large split ventilated compartment, with no-slip PVC lining. It also features a Neoprene reinforced handle, and holds up to a size 14 shoe. The Shoester is a great addition to your golf gear essentials.

800 Bag

The OGIO 800 Bag is designed to carry a helmet, but it’s really an all-around performer that I use for a shag bag. Available in Silver, or female-friendly Icon patterned, the 800 is fleece lined inside, has a reinforced handle, interior zipper teeth protection, has a zippered tear-off and lens pocket plus an exterior sleeve pocket. It’s a fantastic little bag that matches up well with the Shoester.
