Equipment Review:
The Floppy Indoor Practice Ball
by Jeffrey Reed, Editor, LondonOntarioGolf.com

This winter, I've been working hard on my short game - in my basement. I've always putted at home during the winter months, but this year, thanks to The Floppy indoor practice ball, I've been able to work on my pitching, chipping and flop shots in the comfort of my own home.

Yet, thankfully - and my wife will attest to this - I have yet to break a window or damage a piece of furniture (that's more than I can say about previous years). The Floppy, with its innovative design, allows me to work on a realistic swing - no imitation here - while practicing in a safe manner indoors. Here's how.

The Floppy looks and acts just like a real golf ball, but it's made by hand with a specially engineered liner, proprietary fill and woven cover. And, it even leaves the face of a club in the same manner as a real golf ball, outperforming a typical Whiffle-style practice golf ball.

The Floppy is best used off of a plush carpet or a hitting matt. I purchased a 2-ft. x 4-ft. plush carpet mat from a local retailer and has proven to be the perfect mate for The Floppy. The ball is durable, too, plus it rolls and spins just like your favourite pill.

Two thumbs up for The Floppy - the best thing to happen to my short game when I'm gripped by Old Man Winter.

You can purchase The Floppy online at www.thefloppy.com for $19.95 US. Visit the web site today and watch your short game improve this winter.
