Accessory Review: ClubWipes, by Jeffrey Reed
Here’s a new all-in-one cleaning tool first introduced to the U.S. Ryder Cup team in 2004: Inotec’s ClubWipes – presaturated wipes in a 4-in. hand grip canister.
That Ryder Cup team wasn’t victorious, but this product looks like a winner, thanks to its convenient size which allows the canister to fit in your golf bag. The container includes a brush top lid for cleaning turf from your clubhead grooves. The wipes also clean your club shafts, grips, bag, balls and cleats on your shoes. It won’t carry your bag for you, but it will perform some caddy duties by helping your game. After all, clean gear means optimum distance and spin, tackier grips and less chance of soft spikes slipping and sliding.
Inotec president Curt Karbum says, “It’s all about convenience and helping you play better.” Consider ClubWipes a caddy in a bottle. The canister keeps the wipes moist, and it’s easily replenished with the flip of a lid.
Inotec was formed to provide consumers with safe cleaning products which are ecologically responsible to the environment. Karbum actually started his career as an environmental scientist.
It doesn’t take rocket science to figure out what clean gear means to your golf game, but Inotec has developed a solid all-in-one cleaning device.
Now, if Karbum can only figure out a way for this tiny but mighty performer to loop for me.
